ABOUT MY HEART ATTACK: This doctor told me for several months that I had to stop taking lorazepam, a medication I had been prescribed for 50 years (I’m 75). I brought my bottle with the remaining pills in it for him and told him I had started getting off of them 1-2 days before. He never mentioned to me how dangerous it is to stop the pills cold turkey and two days after my office visit, I started convulsing and having seizures. I have been a Patient for many Years now, Dr. Howard was recommended to me by someone in the medical field and am so glad. Dr. Howard is the best.... everyone does an excellent job!!!!! My referrals are always ready and done and Kristin thank you so much for your help, we always think we need to get you a box of chocolates, but their not healthy so maybe Starbucks... Kathi, thank you for helping with our scheduling. and Jessica is very attentive and helpful even when I complain about the scale.
I am happy to have found a doctor with Dr Howard's experience and qualifications in this area after having NUMEROUS bad experiences. He is very attentive and takes his time with the patient, you don't feel like you are part of an assembly line. Refills are attended to immediately and professionally.
Do not go to this doctor, My Mother in law went to him and he never took her health complaints seriously. At one point he told her that lots of people have worse problems than she has. She went to him with severe pain in her lower back he gave her a pain shot and told her he will see her next month! No test or anything. A few days later she was ambulanced to the Emergency room and admitted with severe Sepsis and may very well die from it. Her sepsis infection originated in her Kidneys.
I am extremely pleased with the care provided me by Dr. Howard. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. I feel comforted by the fact that I can trust in his expertise and put all my focus on my healing and well being. His staff is very professional also, and has taken very good care of my needs.
