My husband and I stayed in the New Mexico Cave room last night (8/29/20). Before our stay even began, we had a great experience with a staff member we spoke to on the phone who helped us with a special request. When we showed up, the lady at the desk was equally as helpful and friendly. Our room was nothing short of magical! I come here very often. I normally get the themed rooms. They need updated but they are at least clean. This Weekend we rented a regular room in the pool area.. I would NOT recommend at all!! The room smelled so musty! The top blankets were sticky. not sure why really dont want to know. I don't think they have ever been washed. Loved the Oriental suit. We had to leave early due to family, but we plan on coming back again.
first, it was clean...no bugs. BUT, i cant say id go back unless they did some work on the place. If your not going to update, then its WAY TO EXPENSIVE for no amenities. No hot water, so spa is a waste. filthy old, stained & ripped carpet. nothing is less than 15 years old, including the paint, and t.v. no breakfast, no room service, no window, barely there air conditioning, and pool closed cuz of covid19. $400 for 2 nights...just because its decorated Oriental theme...i dont think so. but it was clean.
Moldy, stinky ,disgusting half a star
we got the room for 2 days when we returned the 2nd day I left at 10am retuned at 10pm my door was left open by maid service it looked like some one had pissed on the bed, and my brand new bottle of wine had been popped open. The manager stated he couldn't do anything about it... then he stated how people like me always want money back. Instead of admitting they were wrong.People are take chances dealing with hotel during Corona
