Attended my son’s Navy graduation. Mold in our bathroom, beds were super hard. They moved us rooms the day before we left. Parking was weird due to being in the same parking lot as DMV, then they closed it off to lay new pavement. Staff was excellent. Chloe did a fantastic job moving us quickly after reports of mold. Morning staff agreed to comp 2 days for the mold situation. Overall it was decent. Just check your room/bathroom for mold. Housekeeping came quickly to wash off the walls where the mold was.
Rooms are great and clean, staff are friendly and very helpful with Navy graduation stuff. Spend the money rent a car go to the beach, lots of places to eat. Toll road are the only down sidebut 2 or 3 bucks isn't bad. Downside is the bed is so hard, everything else was great.
I was very happy with my stay at Howard Johnson. The room was very clean. Tracy at the front desk is the ultimate concierge. Would definitely recommend.
