Having stayed here before without major problems, my husband and I decided to stay here again. Big mistake! The first room we were given had a nonfunctioning TV or coffee maker. So we were given a different room. In that room the refrigerator was full of water and not working. So, my husband had to put his insulin in the fridge by the check in desk. Don't stay there. Our room was damp, musty. The mattress was horrible. There was no working fan in the bathroom. The fixtures in the bathroom were rusted. There was no stopper in the sink. There was mold and mildew on the bathroom countertop. I contacted Wyndham hotels and lodged a complaint. We paid for three nights. We left after the second night and found another hotel. September 1, 2025, I selected Microtel Inn & Suites in Lillington, NC when we needed a hotel to stay at the last minute. Microtel is the only hotel in Lillington. There was no last minute availability via vrbo or airbnb in Lillington. We checked in around 5pm on 09/01 at Microtel with plans to leave early 09/02. I requested a non-smoking room. Awesome hotel to stay and very affordable rates!! Comfortable rooms with access to all the amenities… Excellent customer service from the staff! Sammy, front desk receptionist, has been especially exceptional in her interactions being not only very professional and friendly but also helpful always going over and beyond to make sure my stay has been very pleasant and ensuring accommodations are provided when needed. If you like mold, mildew and general filthiness this is the place for you! I got up in the middle of the night to use the potty wound up slipping on the bathroom floor due to a leaking toilet and broke my toe. They didn't seem to give a darn about what happened. I switched my room and it was even a bigger disaster than the first one. Pictures are worth a thousand words and I have plenty. I should have slept in my automobile.
Facilities were gorgeous and clean, staff were very friendly. starbucks in the lobby is fabulous. Thank you for supporting BCGEU strike.
Horrible motel they tried to steal my motorcycle while my trailer. They put a change on it and expected me to just leave it changed up. Then the maid who wasn’t asked to clean my room came in and stoled my $150 flash light out of the room. I would sleep outside before I would stay there and I’m a platinum rewards member !!! Horrible customer service and dirty!! I’m calling Wyndham and complaining on how they treated us. Left my phone in room. Called a few hours after checking out. They were rude and said not the next day. They immediately took my credit card number. After it didn't arrive in a week I called again. Never allowed to speak to manager. Lied first about housekeeping mailing it and then maintenance man wasn't in all week, so he couldn't mail it. No maintenance man for 4 days. I was also told no one ever left a phone there. They finally mailed it a week later. Charged $30.
Front office manager over the weekend is wonderful. Helped us when there was a problem with another party making noise. Got us a new room and also dealt with the individuals making the noise. She went above and beyond to help us make our stay pleasant. She is a wonderful lady who deserve all appreciation. Curry Marshall
