It's likely that the positive comments here are from people who were compensated, and quite strange that critical ones seem to disappear, as I've tried commenting multiple times. The area's unsafe, and I was genuinely shocked by how aggressive and unprofessional the manager was. In the surrounding area, you will find people cussing you out and one even came onto me. Not good particularly if you're with family.
We recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kingston and had a truly pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, clean, and comfortable—but the real standout was Pam at the front desk. Pam was absolutely fantastic! The room was neat and tidy, we faced no issues. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well - Pan recommended a bunch of places for us to visit and eat at as well!
I would like to personally thank Pam at the front desk for helping with the check-in. Very helpful, professional and friendly. I had made the reservation under my name but actually sent my daughter in my place. Thankfully I called ahead to inform them and everything worked out. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was comfortable according to my daughter. I would definitely refer people to book at this property. Thank you all again
