Old and worn out. You get what you pay for. I have stayed here 3 years ago, the property was in much better condition. This time, the room my wife and I stayed in had a gap in the doorframe I could put my hand through. The air conditioner was a suggestion rather than effective. Not recommended.

I've stayed at nearby Canadian Motor Inn for a couple of times before. This time, I decided to give it a try and don't regret it. The parking is bigger, the room was cleaner and staff were nicer. It's just a motel, so you might still encounter minor issues such as a TV remote not working, but that's ok as long as it's neat and clean.

Rooms are very dated. Rooms smell stale and the WiFi is SUPER slow. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean.

It was a cheaper side room for a one night stay but that’s no excuse for the constant overpowering smell of old water/water damage and mold in the room. Me and the lady spent almost an hour airing it out the second we got in there since we could feel the moisture in the air. We decided to stay because it was only 1 night and it was already 9pm by that point. Thank goodness for the bedding I had packed because the air wasn’t the only thing that felt a little damp.

My stay at Howard Johnson was fantastic. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff especially Allan at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
