No I would definitely not recommend Dr. Howard zaiff. I have been struggling with a strained Achilles’ tendon for months. Because of covid I was very reluctant to visit a doctor. A friend recommended zaiff. Upon entering the clinic there were people EVERYWHERE! When I was finally called into his “ office “, it looked like a rented cubicle that some other doctor would be occupying later in the afternoon. Let's start with orthotics. He ordered me a pair, they fit great, and started to fall apart after 2 weeks. This is $360. Dr. Zaiff told me to use tape to fix them! When I insisted on a replacement, he said, "I'm going to add a heel." I thought it was for my foot. Heel barely fits in my shoe, and the new ones were uncomfortable. I asked him to send it back "we've never sent it back twice, you asked for the heel" -if the first pair didn't fall apart, we wouldn't had to.
