I saw Howard for therapy years ago and highly regard him. Not only did he help through a hard time, but further inspired me in pursuing my own career in mental health care. Very genuine guy.

2 weeks ago, my 11-year-old son and I met Dr. Howard Levitt for the first time. During the meeting, Howard seemed to be experienced of working with children. He was able to engage with my son. As a result, my son became excited about his new therapist. However, my son won't be able to see this therapist again as Howard never returned my call. I do not know how to tell this to my child. THIS DOCTOR IS UNBELIEVABLE. HOW CAN HE DO THIS TO A CHILD?
The review message regarding Howard is inaccurate you can check CA Medical Board, there have been no grievances field. You should not attempt to interfere with the development of a Child. They have protected rights too, I commend the actions Howard took and he does not need to justify his actions to you. Furthermore, you really don't need to post such a negative review. Going through a divorce and Howard saw y daughter , after I asked him to not see my daughter, took it upon himself to see her as a patient. This is against any therapists moral judgment. He should not have seen her without both parents consent. He was very difficult to get ahold of, rarely answered my questions about my daughter and I asked him for her medical records on Nov. 2, 2016 after he made a claim that I was an unfit mother to the court, and he still to this day has not released them to me or my attorney.
