The restaurant comped our meal because our car was stolen over the weekend when we were visiting in search of a wedding dress! They wanted us to still enjoy New Orleans and comped our meal. Absolutely the nicest and most considering restaurant that o have eaten at! Everyone please try Houstons on St. Charles! It's amazing
We go there all the time and the food is perfect!
Tried to eat at Houston's tonight with my family while visiting New Orleans. We were told that they cannot accommodate more than six people and even had the nerve to suggest that the extra person would have to be seated at a different table. Really, should we have pulled straws, or should I have just chosen my son, nephew, sister, or niece to sit elsewhere? I will never eat here and will never recommend Houston's to anyone. We just went there today, and I ordered the most expensive item on the menu- the fillet. I asked for med. well because I was afraid it would be too pink and even mentioned slightly pink. My steak was very well done. It was burnt tasting and dried out. I can't believe they can't cook a steak. I didn't say anything at the restaurant because I don't want to be mean, but come on. I will never waste $36 dollars there again for a steak.
