Great Food, Service & Atmosphere...Priced just Right This place has always been consistent in my book as far as food & service. I've never been disappointed with anything on the menu. Some of my faves are the Biltmore Chicken, the Ahi Tuna Salad, Burgers, Lemonade & Fresh Squeezed Cosmos...yummy. what does he get paid to do (chef) personnally, I have never eaten at houstons (Hillstone) I have taken an hour or so and have read comments I have to agree with some and disagree with the company more. my issue is with a fla restaurant staff (chef) every time my husband makes a delivery the chef as him to something different first time put the meat in standing water in the cooler, this is supposed to be 5 star quailty? now do the restocking of it when he makes a delivery Truck drivers are not paid employees of the restauran... read more
The food is good, but management is young and don't know how to deal with a regular customer for 13 years. I was told to leave after having a disagreement with one of the managers. I called the corporate office and they apologized for the unfortunate situation. A couple of days after my phone call they transferred the General Manager to another location. But the 2 young managers that told me to leave are still at Houston's. They are not the only restaurant in town. They need to train their management on how to respect custom... read more
Long wait, no same day reservations. Excellent food and drinks, very consistent. Always a pleasure to eat here. Expect to pay $50/person if you get a drink. To the person who complained because their child was screaming, stick to Applebees.
Long Wait, cold food – We've been regulars at this spot for years because the food was great and the prices were reasonable enough. A 40 minute wait for great food is tolerable, but this time it was 2 HOURS! They said, "The wait is two hours, but check back in a half hour." We checked back twice, then decided to sit at the "Community Table" which was first come, first served. Great food but long wait – Have been to Houstons several times and would go more often if not for the outrageously long wait time.90 miniutes is entirely too long a wait at 630so we went elsewhere
