My husband and I have lived in Arizona, New York City, and now KC and Houstons/ Hillstone has always been our special place. I am deeply saddened by the closing of the plaza location. Hoping for a reopening down south- closer to us!
This has been my favorite restaurant for years. The food is ALWAYS consistently prepared well, fresh ingredients and great flavor. The wait staff are courteous and professional. This is the only place I go for ribs. The ribs are tender, fall off the bone good with no fat. A meal at this restaurant has been my birthday gift request from my daughter and son-in-law for several years. Where will I go for my birthday now??? One of the few times that everything was not fantastic. Teri ordered roasted chicken and it was under cooked. Waitress quickly took it back and new order was brought out by one of the cooks.
It will truly be missed!! Always great service & wonderful food.
Service was great even with it being shoulder to shoulder for dining...2 hr wait without reservations
This is one of the true classics on the Plaza. open since the 80's but scheduled to close 1/31/17.
BEST FOOD EVER! So sad to hear they are leaving the plaza!
