I just want to say, even on the last day at Houston's Restaurant on the Plaza. The STAFF is giving 100% service. You all have shown SO MUCH LOVE to Kansas City Country Club Plaza. I'm going to miss you all. It's like we just lose a family.My family comes every weekend to eat here. Who will cook for us now? Lol .We will Miss you all dearly. No more greyhounds, tortilla soup (I can't find anything that even touches out good it is here) and melt in your mouth French dip (seriously the best I have ever had).. This place will be missed!
One last meal. The prime rib French dip was great. Enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. Sorry to see it leave KC.
This place is so great that I plan on making it one of my regular dining stops in 2017.
I am heartbroken that Houston is going away! We love this restaurant don't go!
We ate at Houston's Sunday. . . . and it was wonderful, as usual! They're closing for good Tuesday, February 1. Everyone is so sad that you're closing. Please let us know if you're opening another restaurant somewhere else. You will be missed!!
Been going here for almost 30 years, sad to see them closing. They truly have amazingly consistent food, great customer service and an ambience you can't find just anywhere.
