I did my first mammogram today at this facility and I had the most incredible experience! First, Ms. Felicia at the desk was an absolute sweetheart. She could tell on my face that it was my first time. The care/nurturing tone in her voice immediately put me at ease. She also gave me the rundown of what was going to happen during my visit. Very disappointed. Walked out after more than an hour wait and skipped 3 times. Appointment was at 8:30am with 8:15 check in time. Checked in at 8:11, was called to the back to dress out into gown 10 minutes later. (Ok that was fine BUT) Waited in the holding area 50 minutes without ever being called in for mammogram!! I was very upset as I was seeing other ladies come in and out after me. Most of appointment lines staffs are not pleasant experience, and does not follow through.

I visited the Breast Center on October 19, 2022. I had a bilateral mammogram and a bilateral ultrasound scheduled back to back. My appointments were scheduled in a timely basis. My technicians were thorough and compassionate. Also, the doctor who I saw after completion, had a great bedside manner. I left the center relaxed. Also, I used valet parking in the Smith Tower Garage which further helped to reduce the stress of the day.

Smith Tower visit wasn't pleasant. The Ultrasound tech was very rude, she ask me a question and when I answered No Why? She was extremely rude and told me it was a yes or no question as I lay exposed, scared and vulnerable on the table. I told her not to talk to me that away, that she asked for a reason 30 minutes into to Ultrasound. Vad bed side manor and when I go back for the biopsy I will be discussing this with someone.
