Absolutely terrible! I would give negative stars if I could. I broke the frame of my glasses and I have now been calling for three days leaving messages right and left, and nobody has returned my call. It looks like they have no desire to help a patient in need. I am going to look for a better place for my care.

Nice facilities, however the worse experience I ever had. A friend of mines referred me to this place. I walked in to purchase a Cartier frame, this dude I believe (is African-American) never gave me eye contact, I had to approach him for help. He didn't seat me down but wanted my personal info which means my SSN, and insurance. When I asked him why? He has thrown right in my face "You have attitude and I don't like attitude. I would have to find someone else to help you". I waited for 20mn, no help and I had to leave. I tri... read more

Great job I went to the Grammercy office, and I have to say I had a pleasant visit. The wait was a bit long, but so is the wait to all of my other doctors that I visit. They had all of my stuff already pulled and ready for the visit. I had a great gal, Georgina work me up. She was friendly and worked me up quickly and efficently and knew exactly what she was doing. And the Dr. came in and talked to me, checked me out, and I was good as gold until my next visit. I would definitly tell others about my experience at Houston Eye... read more

Horrible Office Staff I made 4 appts at the Peakwood location. I went to the office to pick up paperwork prior to the appts. I stood at the desk for 10 minutes and was completely ignored by a total of 4 of the office staff. Not one of the ladies acknowledged me or asked if they could help me.The checkout girl was checking email because apparently that was more important. Even while on the phone, I would have understood the universal hand gesture of "gimme a sec." My husband finally got up and came to the desk when the recepti... read more

Dr Kathryn Musgrove We were very disappointed with Houston Eye after seeing Dr Musgrove. She did not appear to know what she was doing and was quite rude to my husband and I. We had brought our young son to her after being recommended by another dr. After a 2 1/2 hr wait in the overcrowded office we spent less than 10 minutes with her yet were charged $300 to be told that the treatment we were already doing was sufficient. She also wanted to put glasses on him even though he has 20/20 vision. I would never return to her offi... read more

GREAT EYE DOCTOR!!! Being in Houston, I have many eye care providers to choose from but when it came to my decision on choosing an eye doctor I chose a group with the reputation for quality service. I visited Dr. Deanna Pena Garcia at Houston Eye Associates' Augusta location and I was completely amazed at the quality of service in which I received. Dr. Pena Garcia was very thorough in explaining everything to me and she definitely exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Dr. Pena Garcia to anyone who is looking for a grea... read more

Great Eye Place!! Dr. Deanna Pena Garcia is a neat lady and the best eyedoc that I have seen in years. I have had the best experience at this location. She explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it throughout the entire exam for me and my daughter. I cannot think of one eye doc in the history of me wearing glasses (over 20 years) that has given me this much information. She went over the best options of CLs for my daughter and Cindy taught her how to put them in and take them out in record time. We thought ... read more

Great Experience When I needed new glasses and hadn't been to the eye doctor for a long time, I asked one of my co-workers to recommend someone - she recommended Dr. Pena - Garcia at Houston Eye Associates. The office was pretty easy to find and there was ample parking in the attached garage. I found Dr. Garcia to be very professional and patient with all my questions. I hadn't been to an eye doctor for a while, so I had quite a few questions. She explained every test in thorough detail. I didn't feel at all rushed through t... read more
