Dr. Cartwright is simply wonderful. I was having terrible back pain that radiated down my left arm, and he listened with a compassionate ear to my descriptions, asking questions along the way for a complete understanding. Instead of recommending surgery on my spine, he helped me with pain management medicines and physical therapy. Dr. Cartwright is the best! He listens to your questions, he takes time to answer and explain everything to you. I wouldn’t go to any other spine doctor.
Dr Cartwright is one of the most kind compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. Does not rush through the appointment goes over everything with you that you need to know. He’s done surgery on my neck and my back and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Cartwright’s knowledge and experience are why I came to him. Back pain often has no clear answers, but he was patient with my frustration and talked through several avenues and the consequences or outcomes of each. A skilled surgeon that doesn’t jump to surgery is a rare commodity!
He was very attentive and he makes it his priority to provide relief in the most conservative way possible.
Dr. Cartwright listened to my concerns and addressed them thoroughly. I’m grateful for his compassion and expertise.

I need a medication that will control my pain after surgery. He prescribed exactly what I told him did not work. He will not prescribe anything more telling me to contact my primary care physician who will not prescribe any pain meds. He is aware of this practice. Since it's after hours, I can't expect to get anything from either one of them.
