This elegant and eccentric restaurant is a true treasure. Owners Robert and Robin Trick turn out real treats from this kitchen. Situated in a 1920s cottage with a picturesque patio, the fare is American with a Southwestern, and sometimes Asian twist. Mismatched place settings and cozy country decor give this restaurant eclectic charm. Fresh fish is delivered daily and makes up a big part of the menu. The Smoked Salmon Cakes are a big seller. Lunches feature creative soups, salads and sandwiches.

Hubby and I kicked off our mini (much needed) vacation with dinner at House of Tricks. What a wonderful meal, beautiful patio, perfect service - we can't wait to go back!
I found this place when I moved to the Valley in May of '98. I have Never been disappointed in the quality of service or menu. I make it a point to introduce it to someone new at least twice a year. Hidden gems like this need to stay in business so we are not left the cookie cutter corporate places. If you've never been, Go, and if you have been but not in a while Go!
