This elegant and eccentric restaurant is a true treasure. Owners Robert and Robin Trick turn out real treats from this kitchen. Situated in a 1920s cottage with a picturesque patio, the fare is American with a Southwestern, and sometimes Asian twist. Mismatched place settings and cozy country decor give this restaurant eclectic charm. Fresh fish is delivered daily and makes up a big part of the menu. The Smoked Salmon Cakes are a big seller. Lunches feature creative soups, salads and sandwiches.

We had an awesome experience at the House of Tricks. Delicious food, great presentation and service.
Atmosphere on the patio was amazing and relaxing. The food was so delicious!!
The best place. Don’t go there. I want to be sure I can always get a table....
Service was good but slow. More than once I heard, "we ordered, right? from our group. Apps were tasty. Others seem to enjoy their meals but my fish was overdone and cold. Based on other reviews, maybe this is a one off?
House of Tricks is a charming, lovely outdoor restaurant. It’s a nice place for a leisurely lunch when you have time to talk and enjoy the ambiance. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy because the friendly service is on the s.l.o.w. side! The food was very good, they were busy, and we were not rushed. Even so, the length of time it took was remarkable, and our waiter forgot to bring the appetizer we ordered. I’d give it five stars if the quality of service was better.
