I seriously am in love with this place. I never leave unhappy. The food is so delicious!
I have been going to the House of Kobe since I was just a little kid. I consider the owners to be personal family friends. When my father had a stroke years ago they sent down a ton of free food for dad's first solid meal. They maintain that family non-chain mentality in everything they do. Because they're not a chain their prices are phenomenal in comparison to chains like Kobe. We've been dining at House of Kobe for at least 30years. Having served in Japan as a member of the US Army in the 60's, I grew to enjoy Japanese quiseene and culture, and upon returning to the US was thrilled to discover House of Kobe and it's gracious owner and his family, always there to welcome us. We travel extensively and always seek Japanese restaurants wherever we visit.
