Had a very enjoyable birthday yesterday, good sushi and good service. Highly recommend for sushi and atmosphere.
I just moved to the area and found this place. I was so excited to find a place that made me feel like family. I think thats a lost art in restaurants these days, but House of Kobe had every bit of it. It was a really nice change. I've been coming to House of Kobe for over a decade now! The food has always been amazing and the waitresses are all very friendly. Lately, I've been surprised by some new additions to the menu, as well! This is my restaurant of choice whenever I go out to eat!
The sushi is always fresh. I see them cut and clean the fish all the time. The wait staff are always friendly and it's nice to see the same faces all the time. They usually know what I like as soon as I sit down and that's a treat!!
We stopped in here for dinner and we're very disappointed. The salad was not greens with ginger dressing but, instead, was shredded cabbage with a very salty dressing. The miso soup tasted and looked like salty beef broth. The dinner of shrimp for wife and strip steak for me was done expertly, but seasoned with salt and pepper.
