Food was delicious! Huge portions! Well worth every penny!
My coworkers and I have been to this location several times and today was a disaster. First, one of my coworkers bit into a foreign object in his salad, appearing to be some sort of ceramic. Next, our chef dropped his fork on the floor as he began to crack the eggs and simply wiped it on the towel and continued cooking. Finally, my other coworker ordered steak and shrimp, but received shrimp and chicken. The wait was long, but the food was so good that I forgot how long we waited!
That was my last vist to the schererville location. The food was poorly prepared and the service was a joke. When we visit the merrillville location we have an excellent meal every time...schererville is another story all together. Vegetables weren't fresh, and they tasted burnt. Scallops were not firm and tasted fishy. Rice tasted like it sat in a pot for a few days prior to being served. The ribeye was chewy and over done as I asked for med rare. Good food and plenty of it ! Enough for dinner lunch and sometimes dinner again ! Definitely get your money's worth .
