The worst! – Took my husband for the first time...It was my second trip. The first during lunch was ok, but had been a couple of years. The chef made our dinner so salty that we left it, and told our server. She didn't care to ask if we wanted anything else, since we obviously had not eaten any of it. Didn't try to offer a coupon for our next trip, or to try to save us as customers to make sure if we would come back. I will NEVER come here again.

Do not celebrate your birthday here! – We ventured to the resturant in celebration of my boyfriend's 26th birthday celebration. We went during dinner hours and they were so busy that our guests could not attend. The waiter would not let us sit at a table until all guests are there. The chef stole the show because he cracked jokes and made the atmosphere enjoyable. The food was delicious-I do not remember what I ordered. However, we ordered the birthday pineapple and they sang then added it onto the bill (5 bucks for pineappl... read more

a good place for a group to dine!!! – I have taken various groups of people to this expereince . . .people I know well and those new to me. . . and each time the entertainment of the chiefs and the ambiance of the facility make for a great dining experience . . .children think this is a terrific place-and love when the chief tosses an egg and catch it in their shift pocket . . . .each time we had had a chief who is good at 'working the group' and the food good -- -but the experince is just fun and unique.

Great Food and a lot of Fun! – My kids decided to choose this restaurant that is 45 minutes away instead of the steakhouse that is closer to us on the other side of Columbus for his birthday party. I must say the kid made a great decision. The cooking show was great! The chef made us laugh all the way through the meal. Food price was about the same but the portions seems just a little more then I usually get at other steakhouse restaurants. The thing that knocked me out was they had a my faverite food, raw fresh SUSHI!! The ... read more

Mmm..sushi – The sushi there was good...some of the best i've had (fresh). Only wish there was a larger selection from sushi menu. The habachi dinner was not bad-had better. The chef was very kind and entertaining. Only real complaint was the host and hostess were very rude.

Nummy! – One of our favorite restaurants overall. The sushi is good, the dinners are good, the service is consistant. We've never had a bad experience there. Expect to spend $40-$50/couple. Kids seem to enjoy it there because they cook in front of you, so they're entertained with the show. Not very intimate, but, as I said, one our favorites!

House of Japan is great – My husband and I love this place. I do not think it is over priced at all for the amout of food you get and the quality is also pleasing. If you walk out of this place hungry, then it is your own fault! Great service, the chefs are fun with great personalities. I have never had a bad meal or bad experience at the House of Japan. Much better than the Japanese restaurant on the east side!

Great food - overpriced – I really do love this restaurant. The food is excellent - from the soup and salad to the rice and entree'. However, since it is quite over priced, I would like to see some coupons available occassionally.
