House of Japan – Dublin is a Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse specializing in steak, seafood and sushi. The ambience is serene with waterfall sounds and a neat Japanese garden. House of Japan is known for blending their dishes in a lovely harmony such as filet Mignon, Hibachi lobster, shrimp, chicken or scallops, Teppan steak and an Imperial feast for two which has mushroom soup, salad, shrimp appetizers and a main course of lobster, filet Mignon and chicken. If you want the chefs to dazzle you with their action, then dinne... read more

The Place For "Our Gang" – I've always loved going to House Of Japan. It rarely disappoints. It's great for a group of friends and/or colleagues. We always have fun. Some may call it cheesy but I love the Entertaining Chiefs plus the food is excellent, especially the shrimp! Not good for a date night.
My fav place! – The House of Japan is by far my fav restaurant any where! Ive lived in Norfolk Virginia and Europe and this place is by far the best ever! I love the experience and my kids do also. The chefs are always funnyy and interact with the kids and I love that. The servers are always friendly and refill promptly. I would totally recommend the Imperial Feast suuuper good! And always left overs :) Its all I ever order. Love Love Love this place!
Wow – By far, the best place to eat in columbus!
Nice experience, but not a place to frequent. – No problems with the food. It's always been good...sushi is surprisingly good. The chefs are great, always funny. Servers are decent...pretty on top of drink refills, etc. The problems, in no particular order: 1.) Cost. You pay for the experience of having your food prepared in front of you. It's not terribly expensive, but not a place you'd visit frequently. And, quite frankly, the added cost is not worth it after you've been there a few times. 2.) Host/Hostess staff. Rude. Great atmosphere and fun! – This place is great! Love the atmosphere and the food is great as well. I agree with the overpriced comment as well as the rudeness of host/hostess. It is apparent that they do not speak very much english. Overall, I can deal with the host/hostess because of the food and the cooks. Very fun!
Great food - poor employee relations – The food and presentation are off the chart. The only thing I do not care for is that the host and hostess are very rude. When we asked our chef if he receives all of the tip and then tips out the bussers. He told us that the house distributes the tips. I do not care for establishments that do this. These guys work very hard and my wife and I do tip 20% when we are taken care of. I think it is reprehensable when a restaurant distributes the tips. How do I not know that the "house" charg... read more
By far the best Japanese experience in Columbus. – This is one of the most fun restaraunts to go to in Columbus. I would highly recommend it. Sit at the table and watch as your chef prepares the food right in front of you. I have eaten at a few of the Japanese steakhouses in Columbus, and this is by far the best.
EAT HERE! – This place is AMAZING! I live in Cincinnati, ohio. I drive 2 hours to go to the House of Japan. The food is great and so is the service. This place is better than Benihuana in Cincinnati. Plus it isnt that expensive. I love this place, and actually we reanted it out for my rehersal dinner for my wedding. That cost an arm and a leg tho.
Melts in your mouth! – My husband and I LOVE to eat here. While it is normally very crowded we have learned you must have reservations on the weekend. It is so worth any kind of wait! The filet melts in your mouth and their shrimp appetizer is so amazing! The Chef is always very entertaining and excellent at what he does! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
