RecommendedA combination of consistently delicious food, attentive, courteous service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere defines House of India as the best Indian restaurant on Long Island, hands down. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Lamb korma and chicken mango are our current favorites but we hope to eventually explore the menu in its entirety.
The food was delish and the staff was extra friendly.
We had a great lunch at House of India today, whilst visiting Huntington. We took our 12 month old son and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. This is a family run business and we got that vibe. The food was delicious and plentiful and the restaurant was clean and spacious. We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes. I have my eye on the samosas!
Vegan options. Delicious food. Wonderful family owned restaurant. (Then walk to Ben n Jerry’s for Vegan ice cream dessert!)
Small portions at high prices. Seat other diners next to each other even with an empty restaurant so you’re forced to have to listen to other people’s conversations (and they of course can hear yours) even though there’s no reason for it.
Place is amazing,great service and best food I love the place
Excellent authentic cuisine, pleasant service and fair prices. We have been eating here for years and it is always great!
