We had a reservation, waited 40 minutes and when we asked if we would be seated soon they were very rude. We walked out to go to Rockne's down the street and the hostess just said "ok" there wasn't an apology or anything. What a difference at Rockne's staff there was friendly and we were seated right away even with them being busy.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is outstanding. I've been coming here for the past six years and have had only one negative experience. I would definitely recommend House of Hunan for a quiet dinner or a large party in the banquet room.

Hands down my favorite place to eat! Over 7 yrs I've never had a bad experience here. The Itamae is astounding! I order carry out sushi about once a week. It's always a devine, scrumptious & consistent flavor & size. Dining in is just as pleasant every single time!
