Best Chinese restaurant in Columbia. We have been dining here since Amy opened up in 1981. It feels like home.
Very disappointed with this place. My boyfriend is allergic to nuts and ordered the pineapple fried rice for delivery since there was no mention of nuts in this dish. However, after taking multiple bites of the dish, he found cashews in the dish and was sick the rest of the night. When I called the restaurant to let them know my concerns, they made no attempt to make things right and said it was our fault for not letting them know of the allergy. Madison, sorry that your boyfriend had bad experience with the nut allergy. Our staff make sure all customers need are taken care at our best possible efforts. We often cook dishes with fresh oil without cross contamination from frying nuts. Nut allergy is a serious matter and we treat all special requests seriously as we cook all dishes from scratch.
