This was my childhood camp, I sent my kids and they loved it! I hope they send their kids and on and on!!
No matter what your age or background, HITW is a fantastic place to hang out, learn and play. I am so excited to see the new Elliott Lodge and other changes. Miss Val has much to be proud of!!!!!!
I was a camp counselor here for two summers (1995 & 1996) when I was in college at UW-Oshkosh. Best job ever!!! Loved the kids, loved the camp, loved working with Val Ward. Can't believe she's still there! That's awesome. I was always so excited when we rode on buses into the city to pick up the kids. Great memories! Such a great experience for the campers and such a rewarding one for the staff!
