Recently we returned to Houmas house after 12 years. Back in June 2005 we had our wedding party at Houmas House. Back then CJGracePhotography took the photographs of our event. Jenn joined us 12 years later for another photo shoot. He had a wonderful time! We stayed in one of the Houmas House Cottages during our visit. Excellent accommodations. Kevin and his staff looked after us! What a wonderful location and team! Can't wait for our next visit and we won't leave it 12 years next time.
Okay, but I don't think it's of any significance to hear about or envisage the lives of the 'wealthy' occupants of Houma's house. We had a great tour guide. Beautiful personality. Otherwise, Whitney plantation makes more sense.
This place was awesome. Our tour guide was so nice and well educated on all of the history. And I can't quit thinking about the delicious food I got at the restaurant!!!
I have been there and it is the most beautiful plantations that I have seen, and I have visited a lot of them. You won't regret your visit. Would like to go again.
Food very overpriced for brunch garden was beautiful but food not good for the prices
