We almost didn't choose to go tour this beautiful home. But it was our favorite event of our weekend in south Louisiana. Now, the BEST part of our tour was our tour guide, Elizabeth. She simply MADE our day! We had some French ladies in our small little group, and she intermittently spoke with them in their own language. She was amazing, knowledgeable and SO funny! We fell in love with her, and she made us feel like we were "back in the day". If we ever come back, we will be looking for Elizabeth!
This tour was informative. Our tour guide was a lovely Southern lady who was able to recreate the history of the plantation. Best tour guide ever! She was a real Southern Bell! I think her name was Jolynn!
I was impressed with the place. We missed a lot of the tour due to our group being so large. We weren't able to hear the guide on everything she was saying. I will be back in the future.
