Madison at the front desk made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The hotel is beautiful, from the moment you walk in you feel the intentional peace they have created at this hotel. With the design and decor I feel you captured the peace and tranquity and resourcefulness in this space and it smells wonderful here. I am so grateful to be an IHG reward member. Great location. Rooms are showing their age a bit sliders don’t lock on all the rooms. Balcony’s are great and big for the city. Parking near by at the parking structure is always available. Great walking neighborhood. Bed is comfortable.
Had a bad experience last week. The walls are very thin and there was a party going on in the hall and next door. Front desk acknowledged they heard it but didnt act on it. Was promised IHG points but they didnt credit my account. After several attempts still have not heard. Management not responsive.
The hotel has a lot going for it. The room itself was nice, modern, and very clean, and the overall property was well maintained. The location was also fantastic and definitely one of the biggest highlights of the stay as it is very safe and quieter. That said, I booked through the American Express Hotel Collection and personally didn’t feel the experience was quite at that standard.
