RecommendedStayed here on Saturday night and just loved everything about it. The location, the setting, the decor, the decorations, the room itself was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious. And the front desk staff, both Taylor and Meghan, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again anytime we are visiting the area.

Had a great stay at Hotel Santa Barbara! Great location, friendly staff, super clean rooms, comfortable bedding. I only have one disappointment....I just read that you'll be replacing the original Otis Elevator? I sure hope that doesn't happen. That elevator is part of the charm of this hotel.

Stayed here with family on a California road trip. Lovely hotel from another time. Staff was excellent, breakfast was very good and the location was perfect. Cookies and passion fruit tea daily were a nice touch. Stay on a low floor because the elevator while historic is small and clumsy.
I understand that it was the 4th of July and it was busy, but there was not enough staff. In general the Hotel is OK.
