Front desk staff knocked on my door at 10pm. When I replied "just a moment" because I was changing, they used their keycard to open my door anyway. Luckily, I had the latch shut so they couldn't enter. They left without explanation. Incredibly unnerving as a young, solo traveller especially.
Started going to Rialto since it’s opening after the renovation while they run a promotion and went back ever since. The building is beautiful and the location is perfect between China Town and Victoria downtown. Parking is off site one block from the hotel.
OUTstanding stay fell in love with the #Lavazza + Rialto cookies in the room. I had an amazing top floor corner room and the views were amazing day and night. Stand up shower and heated bathroom floor was pretty cool. What a location, there is a high end vintage liquor store right off the lobby and I got some Port to enjoy while in town. Water bottle filled in lobby with free fruit and coffee in the mornings. Amazing staff, helpful and warm. Can’t beat that downtown location.
Check in attendant was very thorough and friendly, and the location is perfect for both seeing the sites and accessing the highway. The rooms are clean and provide everything needed. This is the 2nd time I've stayed, and will be returning for any future visits to Victoria.
Is a little boutique hotel not far off the main drag (Govt Way). Loved the Italian decor and it was a very secure building. Heated bathroom floors are always a nice touch!
