The worst experience ever they harrassed me. They denied my access to the disability bathroom fascilities and Im disabled. They treated much differently than other guests, age and disability discrimination. They rented my room and forced me into another room forcing me to pay a higher unfair rate, and moved me upstairs in a grungy dirty old room with bad dirty vents witch blew dirty air into the room. Best Hotel Ever! I stayed her for Comic Con 08 and I was surprised by the service. Room was always clean and it is located extremely close to the convention center and surrounding activities. Great bargain!
Found this hotel on one of the popular travel Web sites after deciding to drive down to SD for the annual Celebrate Dance Festival in Balboa Park. My friend and I were looking for something affordable and convenient, and the Hotel Occidental fit the bill.
