The rooms are absolutely gorgeous! One of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed at. The service is good and the location is great. I am surprised that it was the price. It was because it was very reasonable on hotels.com in comparison to other hotels nearby. I definitely made the right choice with this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.
I was charged a resort fee of $33.63 per night, no water, room not cleaned, I did not use the club, no refund, unethical behavior by the hotel, please do not do business with this unprofessional hotel
I consistently return to Hotel Madera when I am in DC visiting my college daughter. I’ve tried several other hotels around the DuPont area and Madera just has “the thing” - small enough to feel like a boutique stay but large enough to offer amenities like a restaurant, good coffee and a gym. For anybody thinking of staying here this place is NOT a smoke free hotel. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
