Location is obviously great. But staff were snarky every time I interacted with them. The rooms look well renovated but look at the floor and baseboards…
AVOID!!! HORRIBLE!!! THE STAFF IS HORRENDOUS!! THE FRONT DESK HAS ZERO HOSPITALITY. OTHER HOTEL GUESTS WERE ALSO COMPLAINING! THEY HAD NO AC! THEY OFFERED NO POINTS FOR THE INCONVENIENCES! THIS PLACE IS LAUGHABLE! DO NOT DISBURB ON DOOR IS NOT RESPECTED! HOUSE KEEPING KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR AT 10PM BRINGING TOWELS AFRER THEM ALREADY BRINGING THEM AT 8PM! THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE GUESTS FOR 2 ROOMS INSTEAD OF ONE! SAYING " SORRY IT WAS AN ERROR" Corporate needs to evaluate this place ASAP!!!
Nice place but the parking. It’s $125. You must take a ticket and enter the parking gate before pulling up to the hotel entrance. There is no sign with pricing disclosure. Upon check in you lean that parking costs $125. This is the most expensive and opaque parking experience I’ve ever had. Thought you should know before choosing the hotel.
I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties as a Hilton Honors Gold member, and this was the first one where I felt the front desk staff simply had no interest in accommodating guests. The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms were clean, the location is fantastic, and the restaurant and its staff were outstanding. Unfortunately, the front desk experience overshadowed an otherwise great stay. Not a very good hotel for the price and I’ve been a diamond member for many years… broken AC and shower blinds on day one, parking lot is quite cramped and the exit to La Jolla is always traffic jammed, the cleaning staff woke us up at 830am but failed to come back until 530pm we had clearly gone for the day and they did not service our room at all… overall really poor experience.
