I had a really great experience at Hotel La Jolla, and the staff truly made my stay so much better. Jeff checked me in and was extremely helpful from the start. Shaq was also wonderful and helped me with everything I needed, including providing beach supplies like a chair and towels, which allowed me to have a really nice beach day. Luke was also very accommodating and helped arrange a late checkout since I wasn’t sure what time I would be returning from visiting the hospital. I do not recommend this hotel or their employees. When we checked in on August 6th, the front desk staff gave us our keys and when we got to our room it was not what we booked. They switched our two queen bed, ocean view room for 3 adults to one king with no view for three people! They downgraded us without even telling us. They just expected three adult woman to share one king bed even though we paid for two queen beds and an ocean view. The walking proximity to the beach and restaurants is great. The traffic is pretty noisy though. The hotel also didn’t meet our expectations for the price we spent. $50 a night for parking that is not covered, no EV charging or valet. They also leave one of the security traffic arms open all day, so anyone can drive in and out as they please. When we arrived, the front doors to the lobby wouldn’t open. Che postaccio! Personale inqualificato senza saper gestire una struttura del genere. Pulizia camere da discutere! Ho provato a fare la colazione ma dopo aver ricevuto un caffè in un bicchiere di cartone con il tappo sopra per bere, era chiuso male e me lo sono versato completamente sulla gamba sul piede e per terra mi hanno anche guardato x dire cosa hai combinato! Quando l’errore era di chi mi ha chiuso il caffè! Comunque follia! Posto da dimenticare!
