Just stopped in to use the restroom and was really impressed with the interior design. So I took pictures and shared them. Very nice cozy places!

Though the remodel looks nice, this hotel has lost some of its original Japanese soul. The rooms have been spruced up, not formally re-designed. I found there was wasted space where a chair could fit comfortably. The retrofitting of the hotel has left exposed pipes in the hallways. It does not look cool or industrial, it looks unfinished. The staff was friendly but rather cool and aloof and for nearly $400 a night there are so many other hotels I would preferred to stay at in San Francisco.
