Needs some serious updating and repairs. Everyone was kind and took great care of us. Parking wasn't great. And I didn't really appreciate seeing ni***r written in dust on the window, but not to worry, I cleaned it off for them. Prices are outrageous. One employee told us she's been there for 20 years and has been begging for a raise for YEARS and they just finally gave her a 25 cent raise... with their prices, surely they can do better than that. Cruise ship. Buses. Adult Spa closed. Main pool taken over by kids. Worst night in Alaska. For just over #500 bucks for a room overlooking the parking lot.
Booked for mid-October. To start, the service and food at the 2 open restaurants was great. The other side: There was no disclaimer when booking months out that everything was going to be closed, including the pool, hot tub, tram, and the majority of restaurants. For the high price paid, I would expect more out of a business model and making customers at least aware of all closures when booking. We went out to eat Saturday morning called and asked our room to be cleaned, came back and when my wife was about to use a towel to clean her face she noticed that same towel she had used and thrown on the floor was folded up nicely and hangin to be used again, she could tell it was the same towel because it still had the lipstick stain from her using it the night before, disgusted by it we thought of the towels we just used to give our kids a bath and wondered if they were clean or not, that same night i tried making some c... read more
