These guys are amazing! Hot Rod is the only insured piercing studio in western PA so I am completely at ease recommending people to go there for their piercing and jewelry needs! This shop has it's crew constantly updating their methods, certifications and standards to stay on top of their game! They have been voted the best in Pittsburgh year after year and it is easy to see why!

Those guys don't know what they're doing – I went to get my cartilage pierced and a few weeks later my ear was so swollen that you could not see the piercing, even though I followed the after care religiously. When I went back to have it looked at, the initial piercer wasn't there and a different one told me that the backing of the stud was put on much too tight, a clear mistake on the first piercer's part. Definately got to Hot Rod Piercing Co. – I would suggest that you go to Hot Rod Tattoo and Piercing. Reason being, I went there yesturdarday and the guys there were so cool. They were willing to answer my questions and tell me everything they knew. Most importantly, they made me feel comfortable being there, they didnt try to scare me off and go to another place, not at all. I was going to get my tongue done and the guy showed me the autoclave. BEST piercing in pittsburgh – large and homey shop.. wide jewlery selection, incredibly sweet, helpful, knowledgeable staff.. really the only place in the pittsburgh area worth going to [other than the south side hot rod shop] for all your piercing needs..
