Hot Rod Bar B Que Is The Best Barbeque in Ruston, LA All the meats at Hot Rod Bar B Que are delicious and the brisket and pork are always well-trimmed of fat. The meat is always moist and never over cooked. Their ribs are some of the best in the land! They have very tasty potato salad, BBQ beans, and cole slaw. Great Peach Cobbler This restaurant's peach cobbler is the best! My husband knows to always pick up some if he is picking up barbeque for dinner. The potato salad is also very tasty. I always get the chopped pork sandwiches. My husband likes to get the three meat plate. What ever you get though, you can be sure it will be good. The dining is casual and you can watch the televisions mounted for viewing pleasure.
I’m usually satisfied with my loaded baked potato but tonight you all were a very skimpy on my toppings I barely had enough to cover the potato so I’m not satisfied probably won’t be back very disappointing

need to sharpen your knives or find someone who knows how to use them... ordered a 2 meat plate with sausage and brisket and it was all smashed not cut at all!! food has always been very good up until a year ago or so... very very dissapointed the last 3 times I've been.

Warning: according to today’s manager, do not expect plastic utensils with To Go orders!!! (I can also add the warning not to expect the correct order either.) Today, I spent almost $40 on lunch for a picnic for my mom’s 77th birthday. We get there, unpack the food, and NO utensils. it should also be stated that our sides were potato salad and baked beans.
