Friends took us here the other night and it was our first time. Luckily, they made reservations and we were seated within 2 minutes after we walked into a packed house. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which was nothing short of incredible. Mexican hot chocolate with HOMEMADE marshmallow after dinner was the thing to hit the spot. Staff was attentive and consistent all night. Great experience all around!
The hot chocolate is to die for and the brunch food was awesome too.
Lost our reservation. Gave our name for walk in, were told it would be 1/2 hour and gave our number. They texted, we confirmed and arrived back in 8 minutes. They had given our table away. Horrible customer service. Thankfully we walked passed Goddess grocery, got an assortment of delicious deserts and still had a celebration..
Came to the Sur La Table event in Chicago where you made your Yum Yum brown butter strudel coffee cake. Loved the event and you!! But I have a question..... the recipe you gave has a temperature of 300 degrees. I made the cream cheese filling with that temp, but there was no change in temp for baking the cake. Is that correct? The cake didn’t seem to bake correctly. I was so disappointed. Taste was great, but I know something went wrong. M thinking temp should be higher. Please let me know if it was a typo. I had the quiche and the Chai Hot chocolate and it was the best I’ve ever had! The ambiance was very beautiful and festive! I highly recommend Mindy’s Hot Chocolate!
