I want to give everyone a shout out that works at Hostel Shoppes. I’m a partial para and I need my bike for more mental than physical. I’m up to 16 miles on a bike path but I pass many dangerous interceptions in SC. I used their internet site to buy a mirrior and a USB LED light. The beautiful and Intelligent Ann in shipping caught an error on my order and held it up in order to find the right solution for my vintage Greenspeed GTO. I just got an ICE Adventure 26 FS with the Shimano 8000 Steps system. LOVE IT! My past years have averaged 11-11.5 mph. Yesterday I rode 16.9 miles at an average of 15.7 mph, including some long hills at 18+ mph. I mostly used the Eco range and was only in the 2 higher ranges into the wind and on hills. I also have a 14 spd Rohloff hub but had to change to a 13 tooth rear sprocket since I had only been using gears 13 & 14. Go for it. I feel I'm getting the same workout per hr but just travel farther. Now I look for hills!
