Nurse Shay day shift emeqrgency room was a true blessing. I was in serious condition, very afraid & in a lot of pain. She was so kind and patient had a great sense of humor. Always reassuring and gave great care with a smile. Also got great care from Dr Hall, he was good about explaining what was happening and what and why different testing were needed. While visiting family from out of state, my husband needed to visit the ER. From the reception staff, Robert to the discharge nurse, Aurora, the experience was very human. Every ER staff was helpful, knowledgeable and exhibited refreshing realistic conversation. We were in and out in a reasonable time.
Once I was taken in to get prep everyone was very cordial and friendly, making sure I was calm. Because of the sedative I barely realized that the Dr was already working on me, I’m that kind of person, don’t like pain, I sleep. The recovery was very good. Again staff was there. The only thing I didn’t care for was, I was told by someone, when I called to arrive by 6:30. I know it’s going to be hard to believe, but I actually had the best experience in the ER. Trust me I’ve been there in the past and have had horrible experiences but for some reason I had go care It was a Sunday afternoon I was involved in an accident and ended up with a fractured wrist along with burns from the airbag. I think I only waited about 10 minutes before I was in a room then the doctor came in then brought the X-ray machine in to confirm his diagnosis.
