Very caring staff member came to the hospital when our family was going through an extremely difficult time. She explained options and advocated strongly for our family member to go to hospice house. We were so appreciative of all of this however when we got to the hospice house, we learned they would not give pain medicine at the same frequency the hospital did. This was unnecessarily very stressful at a stressful time and could have been explained before.

My dad was in hospice for 10 months. His nurse jen and his aide Joey were a god send. I can't say enough good things about these 2 people and any one that I came in contact with at VIA. Their compassion care, and humor were so appreciated. I highly recommend this company and the people

I was so surprised to find bad reviews of this company, my experience has been nothing short of a miracle. My father is in the end stages of Alzheimers, and from the moment the first VIA staff member came to our home, they have been so incredibly helpful, particularly to me as a caregiver. Supplies, support, friendship, empathy, and resources have been offered readily, and I can't imagine going through all of this without them. The VIA hospice team was amazing at caring for my Mom in her last days. Every single person-nurses, Chaplin, social worker etc. were so kind. They communicated to me regularly about the status of my Mom and the care she was getting-I knew that she was peaceful and getting the highest level of care. After she passed, they continued to reach out to provide support to our family. I highly recommend VIA and thank them for making a very difficult time just a bit easier.
