So grateful for the compassion of the nurses with Hospice of the Valley. Very responsive, explained care to us, and answered our questions. Pastor Cody was amazing and thoughtful. It take a special person to work in hospice care. Thank you all, we were blessed to have you during the difficult time and our mother’s passing.
The only hospice anyone should ever consider using! Non profit and wonderful help for a very difficult time.
All hospices are not equal and this is the only NOT FOR PROFIT hospice in Phoenix and as such provides care as needed not as dictated by profit like so many other hospices that are opening on almost every corner. Hospice care that is governed by profit will not provide services as they should when the money runs slim. And while HOV is all things local many of the for profit hospices are owned by people out of state with no real connection to AZ other than the money they take in.
