I wish it were possible to give a zero star review. My family chosen Hosice of The Cental Coast for my father. He was placed on Hospice after being hospitalized. There is disagreement regarding whether or not my father should be on hospice. One of my sisters and I feel strongly that he should not. We have voiced our disapproval politely and on multiple occasions have asked to speak to his nurse to ask questions or voice concerns about his health. The nurse has refused to speak with us. Sadly hospice has provided my father with very poor care. I observed a lack of integrity and ethical practice from the very beginning of our interaction with Hospice of the Central Coast. My first experience with this organization was three years ago while my father was in the hospital. I was approached on numerous occasions by a hospice social worker who attempted to aggressively compel me to make a decision to place my dad on hospice.
