My mother passed away the week after Thanksgiving. I called Hospice Of Southern Illinois 14 days before her death. I realize that holidays are a difficult time to be fully staffed. However, they only came to see her three times. My major complaint was with her pain and comfort medication management. The dosage was too low and too infrequent to control her pain. Everyone who worked with us was extremely kind and helpful. They made the end of my dad’s life better for him and for us. I would recommend Southern Illinois Hospice to anyone who is in need of hospice care.
