This is a joke for care, for six weeks my father suffered and all I was told is that they supply medication. One week before he passed the doctor nurse and social worker said we have no answers for you and we can only do what Medicare allows. They said we cannot get him into the facility in Troy as there is no beds available. Little did we know , but they could have gotten him in a facility in Dayton or Greenville. They never offered information or even called other facilities to see if there were available beds. And at that ... read more

My grandmother was recently transferred to Hospice after a week and a half in the hospital. The staff was very helpful and explained or answered any questions we had. We felt that that not only did they take care of grandma but all of the family as well.
My mother was transferred to Hospice from Miami Valley Hospital. The staff COULD NOT have been more kind, empathetic, sincere, helpful and caring. My mom had a severe brain bleed and had been unresponsive for days, yet they would quietly say her name before each med dose or other procedure. They were consistent with seeing about our families needs as well as my mom's. At no point did we feel alienated or left out. Thank you to Hospice for the most compassionate treatment we have ever received.
Did not show up for the tuck in service, did not show up when they were supposed to, no communication, did not provide the air mattress promised, my mother passed away on a Friday hospice didn't know till monday. Took 2 days for them to return a phone call.
We just lost my stepfather on Wednesday and I want to thank all of you who helped my mother, and the rest of us, through this time. You guys are angels on Earth!
A very caring people and support best ever
I would like to thank everyone at Miami Count Hospice for the great care they gave my daddy.
I just want to say thank you to Hospice of Miami County for the special care they provided for my grandpa. Liz Chaney was his nurse, and I can't say enough amazing things about her. She became a member of our family in the few months we knew her. My grandpa looked forward to her visit every week. She took great care of him. Heather was there at the time of my grandpa's passing, she was very caring and attentive to him. Both Liz and Heather were very comforting to our family. I can't thank the both of you enough.
This is an excellent resource in Miami County. The staff at Miami County Hospice work tirelessly to meet the needs of our local grieving families. Pam does an excellent job meeting with younger kids to help them through the curve balls and struggles of life. Nothing but excellent things to say about this organization. Keep up the awesome work!
