I’m Tracy, I have a beautiful, wonderful, knowledgeable, and more importantly friend at hospice. When first going I was worried how long I would have her in my life, 9 days later ( I know that’s not long) this lady is eating, staying awake for hours at a time and can have those magical conversations that I miss so much. This may not seem a lot but when you see someone who means so much to you in pain these small things are huge. Thankyou to everyone you work tirelessly hard and please know you are all appreciated. I am so thankful that this choice exists.The people we love and care about are able to prepare for death while being taken care of in a warm, loving, and caring environment. Than you to the staff and volunteers who make sure that those in their care, are never alone.
