Our experience does not reflect what some of the positives reviews suggest. During our time in hospice care, 9 months for my husband, there were multiple instances where what was documented in nursing notes did not match what was actually happening. Pain was noted as controlled when it was not, and requests we made for my husband’s comfort were not followed. They were very good until the end stage of my Mom’s life. Our RN Courtney gave the best care ever and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the on call nurse could not offer help as my Mother was throwing up blood at 6 am and she told me to give her the liquid pain medication and wait for the new nurse to come in at 8 am. Up until that point I would have given them 5 stars. Be sure not to call them too much if you are unsure of what to do as I was reprimanded for that as well.Their Chaplain Sam goes above and beyond as well.... read more
