I've never been here. In fact, I haven't been in Rochester, NY for about 5 years, and even then it was only for a week. I've never eaten at Hose 22, so I have crafted this review based on other reviews that I have read. It is the best, most pathetic, tasty and cold food I have ever wasted my dollars on -- EXQUISITE!. My table, which was located in an absolutely filthy restroom, had the most beautiful view out onto Lake Ontario. My wait staff was bored, indifferent and utterly dedicated to serving me. We brought my family here just this past weekend, no reservation and a party of 8, food allergies and picky eaters didn't phase them. Super attentive and awesome food, even better leftovers!
Great food. Amazing atmosphere! The wait staff took care of my grandmother like she was their own. So sweet. Looking forward to going back.
Great attention by staff. Appetizer was very good. Just can't understand why you have two large televisions with an after game interview on and the other with a mini documentary of some 1970's Yankees players retirement on?!? All while at least five MLB games are in progress! Train your people to attend to the tvs if you're going to have them on, otherwise turn them off and the music up!
