We went to Horse in the Alley tonight to celebrate our 38th anniversary, and everything was excellent. I had the surf and turf with a filet, lobster, and Hunter sauce, and it was absolutely awesome. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster was delicious, the bleu cheese salad was great, and the baked potato was excellent. My wife had the Block Steak, and she loved it. It was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We finished the evening with dessert, making it a wonderful meal and the perfect way to celebrate 38 years t... read more
My husband was very impressed with Beth's kindness when taking his reservation. We arrived to a cozy, speakeasy atmosphere that was warm and inviting. Quiet. Shadowed. I’d give a zero from service…. My husband and I went to have dinner we were t even acknowledged by the staff, we waited awhile to be asked to be seated and we were overlooked . Not just the staff but the people who dine there are people with their nose in the air thinking they are better than you. Never have we ever been snubbed like that anywhere. We ended up leaving, they weren’t even busy the people that work there are just rude and don’t realize had they treated us right they would have had loyal returning customers.
I can't remember the last time my husband complimented a steak, but he had nothing but good things to say about what he ordered at Horse in the Alley. Everything was delicious!
