Not worth the price. The food and service were both good. But for the price, it should have been phenomenal. The garlic butter for the bread was too salty. The chicken noodle soup was good but also too salty. By the time the soup got there, we were out of bread. It did not get refilled until right before the main course. The same goes for drinks. Hands-down, the best place in Bakersfield. I would 100% come back here again. The ambiance is on point, the service is amazing, steaks are to die for, and drinks are good and cheap. A classic American spot with a it of history.

Thank you to Samantha who served my wife (also named Samantha lol) and I. Thank you to Chef Jason who not only did an amazing job with his dishes but also took the time to come out and ... read more
We have friends from out of town visiting and decided to take them to dinner. We had a wonderful evening of great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Kudos to Jason & Beth! You have created a world class dining experience right here in Bakersfield. We will be back!

She was great at making sure we were taken care of throughout our meal along with the rest of the staff. They would check up and see if you needed another drink once you were almost done with your drink and kept the water coming. We had the escargot ... read more
