Check repairs before you leave – If you have this company repair a rug, ask to see the repairs before you leave. I had Horrigan Cleaners clean and repair one of my braided area rugs. I brought it home only to find about 6 spots they missed. My wife called up the next day to let them know about the issue. She was told that the tears were not missed but rather occurred when the rug was brought home. We brought the rug back the next day, they claimed to have fixed the additional tears. Business response:
No excuses, we simply failed to first diagnose the issue (dry rot) and second to effectively communicate what it means for your rug. Unfortunatley the rug is slowly deteriorating. Basic inexpensive repairs were performed and those areas will hold up, however the remaining stitching will continue to disintegrate. Celebrating our 90th year in business we aim to serve our clients in a manner that will keep them coming back for generations. I appreciate the feedback and apologize for failing you.
